Helpful staff and good breakfast buffet that was included. Compared with the other places we stayed while visiting we found the room to be a bit more cramped and it was a little further away from things than I expected (but being close to a subway station helped). Good value for the money though.

Really good location - walking distance to the train and Gion, and 20 minutes walk to Kyoto station. Lots of great cafes and restaurants in the alleyways behind. Beautifully designed rooms with everything you need, and more. Quite spacious compared to other Japanese hotel rooms. Lovely staff. A really pleasant surprise.

Excellent stay, great value

The hotel is excellent, the staff are really nice and helpful. The breakfast that's included is really good, offering something for everyone. We loved the bathhouse in the basement also, it's very clean and relaxing. The hotel is perfect except for the pillows! Some slightly smaller or flatter ones are needed the ones there were a bit big for our personal preference. The room was very well equipped otherwise.

Stayed at Blossom Kyoto for 5 nights and it was frankly ideal. Very clean, the amenities were terrific. Free drinks (cokes, juices, coffees, etc), popsicles and more. Washing and drying machines. A very nice guest lounge area and gym. The rooms were quite nice and loaded with all of the comforts. The stay was great.

The Room was very nice, the shower was a highlight. There is a grocery store right next door, a McDonald's and a 7/11 down the streets. There aren't many restaurants directly near by but there are plenty euthin a 5-10 minute walk.
