The check in process was a complete mess . It took so long for us and we had to talk to three different receptionist to check in. the food selection is extremely limited and the restaurant that serves noodles is only avalible for 2 hours . The room has an extremely staled smell and body odor left from the Prvious guests . My friends and I booked two rooms and both smelled bad . This place is very busy at all times . Lots of people pooled at the reception area and it feels like a college dorm . In addition , the pillows are extremely hard . They feel like bricks . My friend and I were contemplating buying pillows for the time being . In short , this place is not good ! And do not believe what the influencers are saying about this place . I do not think this place is worth staying at .

I loved our stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had our luggages forwarded to the hotel but it ended up in the Kyoto Post Office and staff were diligent about getting our luggages from post offices to the hotel. We also tried their breakfast and the choices are unmatched. There are bus stops all around and it is a 7 minute walk to Kyoto Station. Would 100% stay here again.

The on-site restaurant offers an excellent breakfast and serves free ramen soup daily, along with probiotic drinks and a wide selection of ice creams. The highlight of our stay was the Hot Springs Spa, which is dedicated to enhancing your well-being. We enjoyed beautiful views of the Kyoto Tower.
