The room was really small with very narrow beds for a family of 4 even though we were quite slim and my children were 8 and 11. The breakfast was amazing but the line was long. My kids really enjoyed the complimentary Matcha, ice lollies etc. The female public onsen experiences were great. However, my husband and son told me the male public onsen could have been cleaner, as there were many 'hairs' floating around which was not pleasant. The location and parking were great.

This hotel is very impressive! It’s located near the Kyoto station, around 5 mins walk. The room is spacious, clean and have everything you needed. The breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. It offers a lot of variety option including fresh tempura and sashimi, etc. The hot spring is also very good which includes 4-5 pools. The hotel also offers free coffee at the lobby, ramen from 9-11pm as well as ice creams. I will definitely come back!

My family of 4 stayed for three nights and we totally enjoyed the experience. The hotel was clean and pleasant. Staff were courteous. The only flaw was the receptionist was careless and gave us keys to a room which was already occupied at time of check in. It added some annoyance as we had to pull out large suitcases around back to the reception for a new room. The amenities were good, Good washer and dryer. Nice hot springs and the free ice cream and ramen afterwards, The breakfast was a total enjoyment with local dishes. Will stay there again if in Kyoto.
