It’s a great location for the weary traveler who just got off the Shinkansen as you are only a short walk to the entrance! Very pretty place with nice shops and as you are right at Tokyo station you have access to many eateries, markets, gift shops and are within walking distance to many more restaurants and shops.Our room was upgraded so we had a beautiful view of Tokyo tower. The room was spacious enough tho I wish the tein beds had space between them and more room in the side. Otherwise, well appointed. I will say the room itself was a bit noisy as you could clearly hear sirens and hallway conversations tho otherwise perfectly quiet. Would star again for convenience and restaurants!

The service was outstanding. The people who worked the guest desk were able to speak English and were very helpful. A more upscale experience and incredibly convenient for travellers, located right inside Kyoto Station — perfect if you’re catching an early Shinkansen or arriving late. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with professional and attentive staff. The breakfast was excellent, and the cooks even made a custom soft-boiled egg on request, which was a nice touch. There are several dining options within the hotel, though they’re on the pricier side, and countless others just steps away in and around the station. A great mix of comfort, service, and unbeatable location.

I had an amazing experience at The Granvia Kyoto. The staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful. The general atmosphere of this hotel along with the room were top notch. Fantastic room and excellent concierge help. The buffet breakfast is a win, too. Super-convenient location with abundant food options at the nearby station. Even though the immediate neighborhood is a bit more business than residential, it’s a 15-minute walk to get to really interesting neighborhoods. Definitely recommend.
