Room was large compared to other Japanese hotels we’ve stayed in on this trip. TV had chrome cast available which was nice. Water pressure was good. Bed a little firm for my liking but it wasn’t awful. No bed bugs! The hotel is right off Kyoto station which I liked since it meant not having to carry my luggage around walking to a hotel.

We loved our stay at Miyako Hotel. The hotel was central to literally everything, and only across the way from Kyoto Station, which was super convenient. The hotel staff were very professional, polite, and always willing to help. Catching a taxi to and from the hotel was super easy too. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone going to Kyoto to stay there as well.

Location is excellent. Our little kid (less than 2 years old) loved the view of shinkansen and taxis moving around. It helped us a lot for comforting a little baby. The hotel was renovated with good quality interior and TV. Price was good compared to other hotels.
