The food was excellent but the elevator was out and they put me on the 3rd floor. I am 70 years old and had to walk 3 flights of stairs each time I went in and out. Also the next morning after check-in, the fire alarm went off at 6am and there was no communication on what to do. The front desk would not answer the phone and no one came around to inform guests what was going on. The alarm eventually went off and there was no explanation of what happened. I was not offered any compensation for either inconvenience.

This is a different sort of review. My wife and I were in a high-speed car accident on the way to the hotel. The hotel staff was super understanding and supportive as they took steps to cancel my reservation and negate any penalty for late cancelation. They even followed up to express concern over our injuries!

A lot of things. Hotel was clean and most staff was friendly. We weren’t advised the elevator was broken and had to climb 3 flights of stairs which would have been fine if I didn’t have a medical condition and shouldn’t be doing stairs. The TV didn’t work so our plans weren’t able to go the way they should, it was a stranger things theme and there was 2 TVs in the room one was tiny and neither had streaming services and the larger TV didn’t work at all. There was painters tape left in our room on walls and such for places that needed touched up I’m assuming? We tried to make the best out of the situation an ignore everything going wrong but it was one thing after another. The microwave didn’t even work enough to pop a whole bag of pop corn. We were never told about the snack time they have from 5-9 we just found out by going down there which was also disappointing. The whole experience was just wild to me when we usually have the best times at the holiday inn.

Most of the staff was great but when hanging by pool it was very strict we had can beers and not bottle and they wouldn’t let us drink them by pool when I’ve been at other holiday inns and never went through that .. the gentleman that was working in front desk was great and very kind
