I thought the staff was friendly. The room was comfortable however we killed about 4 spiders during our overnight stay. Hard to relax and sleep when you are worried about spiders crawling around. Beautiful setting on the water tho.

August 3-6 stay

There are two issues with our stay. 1. We were told by the front desk at check-in that breakfast was included and it’s open until 11. When I went down for breakfast, the manager said yes, it’s included but there was no buffet, just made-to-order via the menu. Odd. The waiter told me later that it’s not included and “the front desk screwed up.” 2. The indoor hot tub is in need of repairs and updates. The nozzles don’t work properly and just bubble up the wall. Useless. There’s a lot of mildew and stains and the floor throughout the indoor area is damaged and unsightly.

Musty and expensive!

The room was musty smelling and was not cleaned very well. There were cobwebs on some of the walls. The bathroom door didn’t latch properly when closed, so when the air conditioner turned on, the door would pop open. It’s a pricey hotel, so be advised that you’re paying for a great location, not a great hotel room.
