There was mold in bathroom, upon arrival to my room there was a bug to welcome us on the curtain and floors were covered in crumbs. Didn’t see any employees in front desk majority of the time. There were lots of kids in the pool unattended and nothing was clean

This place was so nasty and dirty. Check in and back in less than 5 minutes. Carpets were so nasty and filthy. Smelled like bug spray. Elevators look like service elevators not elevators for the guest. Room it self was out of a horror movie. Bathroom has cracks in the wall. I would not recommend anyone to say here.

More attention to cleaning

The quilt on the bed had gross stains on it which should have been seen by the cleaning staff. They did change it but I shouldn’t have had to see it. The water in the pool was freezing. There was litter in the parking lot. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Upon arrival at the Sonesta Select, Newark, DE, we were greeted by Lamont. He was congenial knowledgeable and most of all wanted to know how he could be of assistance. He invited us to provide feedback on our stay at this location and on his performance. The accommodations and facilities were clean and comfortable. The lobby as well as the indoor was impressive. Kiara greeted us on Sunday morning, the 31st. She was equally as friendly and went over and above to ensure we had a comfortable stay, however our room (425) does require minor repairs - the curtain rod was detached on the leftside, the bathroom door edge was splintered and the bath tub faucet drips.
