We loved our stay, the pool was great, BUT, the rooms aren't toddler friendly. The shampoo, soaps and lotions are at perfect height for them to make a huge mess and there aren't any safety latches on the inside to prevent them from opening the door and escaping.

Would stay again

Check in was a breeze. Got to pur room and spmeone had put food in the ac/heating until which made it smell terrible while running. Tried to call the front desk got the busy signal, went down to the front desk they moved us rooms. We've stayed at this hotel chain in Kansas city before which we like was much cleaner. This one could use a little updating and rooms could be cleaner. Someone left a phone charger in our room that was missed when cleaned, the bathroom had something smeared on the wall behind the door. Beds were comfortable, but pillows were so flat when layed on. Good location, not busy so no noises from traffic.

The rooms and details were super cute but everything in our room was loose. My child almost fell off the loose toilet seat. My husband grabbed a towel of the huge wooden towel rack that was poorly secured and it completely came off. Had one of my children been under it they would’ve been severely injured. There was a used towel left in our room. Not a huge deal but the light switch covers weren’t fully secure.

We frequently stay at this property due to its convenient location, amenities, friendly staff and the ability to have our small dog stay with us occasionally. On this particular occasion, Ally was a new concierge at the front desk upon our arrival. Not only was she welcoming but she was over and above in terms of immediately and seamlessly addressing several of our special requests. I was simply blown away by the level of 5-star service offered, which was even more comfort and relief since we were embarking on an out-of-state trip with our family the next day. One specific issue we had to deal with on the trip was arranging for a cab ride to the airport the next morning at 3:45 AM. We were unsuccessful in reserving a local taxi so Ally arranged for her supervisor, Justin, to personally drive us to the airport the following morning. It was exceptional service that will guarantee my business for the future. Ally offered a level of exemplary service that not only exceeded my expectations, but also created a sense of comfort, reassurance, and security that eased my mind, all with the friendliest demeanor and candor I have experienced in my 40 years of traveling. I cannot give Ally, Justin, and the Stoney Creek Moline a higher rating or recommendation!!

We moved the couch in our room, there was quite a bit of debris underneath it. Also, our room was equipped with two AC/heat units. Only one was working. There was also 2 TVs but only one was working. We were on time with check-in, but our room was not ready. In compensation, they gave us some free drink tokens. It was ready within a half hour.
