The property was a little dated. Our room door was difficult to open and often we had to have someone in the room, let us in. There was a sign for a pool, but we weren’t able to find it. The breakfast was OK, could have been better quality.

Several things didn't work like the room phone. The coffee pot in the room, the clock in the dining hall. Non Locking side door entrance. Nobody had any resolution or know how about how to resolve. Out of Creamer and biscuits in the dining hall. I attribute it to coming out of Sturgis season but should be better stocked during that time. It probably would be easier to just make a PAN of scrambled eggs rather than individual cheese omelets, but food was okay, a little greasy. Room on the end was quiet. Nice big building location off the main roadway and they have a nice outdoor area to sit and eat. But I don't think anyone does. nice water fountain feature to look at.

Needs a major update. Understaffed. Breakfast was slow and lacking. Staff did what needed to done. For the price in the area for the Sturgis rally it was good.

The hotel was beautiful but when looking for an additional plug we noticed that it looked like black mold, we investigated more thoroughly and noticed it was the wall beyond the drywall. The owners said thanks and then went to smoke. Overall it was fine but it was a little unprofessional in wear and how they acted towards customers. I really hope they really do an overhaul because the hotel has a lot of potential and it is a beautiful place despite how it was. Also the pool was freezing cold, my daughter loved it but it was too cold for anyone to enjoy it.

The location is great. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The shower had weak pressure and the water would not get above warm. I reported it after we left so hopefully it's fixed for the next guests. The person working the breakfast could not keep up with the demand. I had to wait for coffee on both mornings and the food was always running out. They really need to hire another person to man the buffet, especially on the weekend and even more so during Sturgis. The pool was out of service, but I wasn't planning on using it anyway so no big deal for me. Overall, I got a couple of great nights sleep in a good location. I would probably stay again.

Needs lots of work. The bathroom door in our room would not entirely close. Very outdated and old appearing carpets and rooms. There was only one ice machine that worked. We had to work to find it. The other ice machines are broken.

It seemed like there’s a new owner trying to update. Old mattresses outside pool area and against fence outside. Pool needed painted and wasn’t very welcoming. I didn’t go in. Great location and the Mexican restaurant up the street was great!

The hotel was easy to access from the highway. The room was comfortable although it wasn't as clean as I hoped it would be. Around the toilet was dirty. We requested our room be cleaned once during our 4-night stay. The area around the toilet was missed again. We let the front desk know. The breakfast was good. They offered hot items. They seemed to be understaffed in the breakfast area on the weekend. There was a wait for the food to come out of the kitchen.

Clean, comfortable and functional rooms in good condition. Nice staff. Price was better than other hotels. Breakfast equipment (typical waffle making station, juice dispenser and coffee bar) were not all working properly resulting in juice that was diluted and unusual color, intermittent waffle batter dispensing and no decaf coffee. Hot food was ok. Cold cereal and bagels were fine. The sign out front said that the pool was closed but the staff said it was open so we tried it. The water circulation and filtration system may not have been working as no flow could be detected and we could not smell any chlorine. The water looked clean but we decided to cut our swim short. The pool was not a factor in our choice to stay there so it wasn’t a big problem for us. The in-house restaurant was out of commission. Again, this was no big deal as there are plenty of nearby restaurants and we didn’t even know about the in-house restaurant when we booked. One of the other guests kept propping open the locked exterior side door which is a red flag in my opinion. Conclude from that what you will. Overall our needs were met, just a few rough edges on the total experience.

Room was clean. The bathroom sink had no drain plug. A new toilet seat had been installed. Unfortunately the toilet lid and the toilet seat could not be fully raised, so they had to be held up when using the toilet. This was extremely inconvenient
