I paid for a king bed with a sleeping sofa, I was given 2 queen beds instead. The furniture was scraped badly like it was donated. Had plumbing issues. TV kept messing up fuzzing. I showered and the water ran all night. Worst thing of all, there was a stain in the sheets like body fluids.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I was so disappointed in the Courtyard that I felt compelled to write a review. Let me start by saying the Courtyard has, in the past, been my reliable hotel for low-key travel. Affordable, clean, and well-maintained. This experience was different. The staff were very friendly; however, the room felt very neglected. The furniture looked like a wild animal had scraped off the varnish. The sheets felt like sandpaper, super thin and a little dingy. The couch was so dirty that we were afraid to sit on it. The room gave me had a general "ick" feeling. I've always liked a courtyard, but this was far below the standard I remembered. My friend's room had no air conditioner, and apparently, they were aware of that and put her in the room anyway. Overall, I would not give this stay a good rating and would not stay there again. The experience has left me feeling leery about Courtyards by Marriott going forward. Cutting corners to save money can also cost you customers!
