I had stayed at Anchor Inn & Cottages in Wells ME 2 years ago when I traveled to and from Millinocket ME. The owners are really friendly, and the room is clean and comfortable.

This property was amazing, well kept, clean and roomy. The town of ogunquit and the beach are both close bye. The town is busy but the trolly comes to the hotel and is easy to use if you want to leave the car home or not. We rented a cottage with a living area and a bedroom. Would definitely come back to this resort while in Ogunquit or Kennebunkport.

We stayed here for one night. It was dirty, spiders in all the corners, the blinds were broken, couch had stains, and the curtains had an unknown sticky substance on them. The outside smelled bad near the AC units. Also, the cottage had no rugs, too much furniture in the one room and one painting (or print) on the wall. It was just a terrible place to stay for 300 dollars. Do yourself a favor, don’t stay here.

Clean room, accommodating staff. Pool was open and heated in mid Sept. The building we stayed in was a little dated and some details were overlooked, that being said, definitely will book again- the price, convenience and being dog friendly are all wins!
