The front desk person was rude and checked us in before we knew the hot tub was closed. When we asked if we can cancel because we booked only for the hot tub they said we couldn’t because we were “checked in” we haven’t left the lobby yet. Terrible experience with the terrible “customer service” I come skiing a lot in Wausau and wanted to try a more expensive place for my special trip and now me and everyone I know will stay far away from this place.

Never stayed at a hotel where you had to ask to have your bedding changed after 2 nights apparently somehow this is some going green initiative would like to see the study how this results in the public works doing less or another way to save overhead?

Everything was nice except there was a spotlight pointed right at our window. The blackout curtain didn’t go all the way to the wall so that light lit up the room all night just getting in through a little one inch opening.

No elevator. Stairs were okay. Room looked clean and presentable. Ac unit was a bit weird at certain times. Toilet and bath tub are in the same room. A little crowded but it’s useable.
