Booked last minute while traveling and needed a quick overnight pit stop. The front desk staff was friendly at check-in, and the room itself was very nice. However, we were traveling with a dog and noticed the room had a slight urine smell, which was unsettling—especially considering the additional pet fee, which we assumed helps ensure rooms are thoroughly cleaned between stays.
We were grateful that the on-site restaurant/bar was open, as we were exhausted from the drive. Unfortunately, we were told the coolers were down and no food was being served, which was disappointing since the restaurant was one of the reasons we chose this hotel.
The most unsatisfactory part of our stay was after checkout. I accidentally left behind my personal pillow and called the hotel twice to let them know I could swing back to pick it up. The front desk staff said it was noted in the report and that housekeeping would be notified. Unfortunately, I never received a call back, and I’m now without my pillow.
