What a perfect inn in Tropic! Yes, Bryce Canyon City is closer to the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park, but it’s very touristy. Tropic is a delightful little town nearby with a population of around 500. The hotels and restaurants are charming.
This is the first time we stayed in our own log cabin! The interior of our room was paneled in ponderosa pine—no wonder with all the nearby ponderosa pine forests. Our room was spacious, modern, and comfortable. Parking was right outside of our cabin.
Since we wanted to get off to an early start at the park, we ordered a quick breakfast every morning at the hotel lobby. Coffee was great, too! We enjoyed dinner at Showdowns (a couple of blocks from the inn) with a country singer.
This cabin was very clean, spacious, decorated nicely. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The cafe was excellent! The pizza place next door was delicious. The whole stay was exactly what we needed.
Very unique, clean and spacious for the cabin named Sinking ship. Convenient to have a front breakfast place, a pizza restaurant and steak house right next to it given it is a small town.
This was my favorite place we’ve stayed on this trip. The cabins are super cute, comfortable, and clean. The attached coffee shop is wonderful, and the proprietors are lovely. Would highly recommend!
I stayed at Bryce Canyon Inn for 2 nights while visiting Bryce Canyon NP.
It was close enough that it made visiting the park easy. The cabins are very spacious on the inside and the beds were very comfortable. I also felt safe and secure in the cabin. It was nice to have an outdoor space to lounge at to enjoy the weather.
The staff was very friendly at check in and the Bryce Canyon coffee selection was great for breakfast.
There is also a grocery store within walking distance as well as a few restaurants.
Perfect place to stay for a couple days while visiting the national park!
This place is a gem! The cabin was fantastic and the staff was awesome!!! In small town where everyone is so friendly and the prices were very reasonable, I would recommend this Inn to anyone...
What a great place to stay near Bryce. We stayed in the Sinking Ship cabin which was perfect for me, my best friend, and my two teenage sons. There was a wonderful coffee shop on the property with great small options for breakfast at a reasonable price. They were very welcoming there. The cabin had two bathrooms, a medium refrigerator and a microwave. Would definitely stay here again!
We loved the cabin feel of the room, and we enjoy rooms with the sink and vanity outside of the restroom/shower. Beds were nice, staff was great, and the espresso in the office was nice and strong 🙂
We just stayed one night while in the area to visit Bryce Canyon. Everything about the stay was great except our air conditioner did not seem to cool properly.
The person at the check in was really nice. Large room but the mattress were too soft. We had to leave early but there was no mean to leave the key. Being on the road we tried to call the reception to tell them we left but no answer.
