Loved the hotel. So many good restaurants within walking distance. Only bad part was the mattress. It was so old and soft, it was very uncomfortable.

It is a unique and beautiful hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Did not get get good sleep due to old, noisy air conditioner. Every time it would come on, it was so loud that it would wake us up.

Split the Annex & the Main Location Entirely

So, we didn't know there was an "annex" / long-term stay area when booking on Hotels.com. I blame Hotels.com more for this. Anyways, the actual room we stayed at was 2+ blocks away from the hotel itself, there was no good parking nearby. REALLY didn't enjoy the walk back from 8th/Mass to our hotel room at 11pm from the concert.

Terrific location to enjoy local artists, restaurants, and shopping all in walking distance. Quiet area during the week. Close proximity to KU! Enjoyed the spacious room with separate bedroom from living area.
