Staff were fine I realize the hotel is being renovated, but there should either be notice of that when booking, or a reduced rate. The room was in need of a redo, and the halls smelled of paint and cleaning fluids

Staff wrote down room number- could not read it. Was 244 or 247? We tried the key at both the rooms and it did not work. Went back to the desk and she could not read her own writing, had to look it up in computer. It was 249. Breakfast staff were friendly and kept area very neat and clean.
