Everything about the stay was great except for the breakfast that is offered. It was all microwavable food except for a waffle station and it was not what I expected. I stayed other La Quinta hotels where the breakfast was eggs, bacon sausage so that was my expectation, and I was surprised to see that this was premade breakfast sandwiches that needed to be microwaved.

Although the mattress was a little stiff at first, I still seemed to get a good night's sleep. The pillows were very comfortable. I had asked for a secluded room because of my sensitivity to sound and got a room at the end of the hall. No noisy neighbors, so the hotel accommodated as requested. The only negative is that the indoor pool was not as warm as I had hoped, so I wasn't in the pool for as long as I would have liked.

We stayed here for a quick local getaway with the kids and were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, spacious, and just what we needed. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area but still close to Mystic and Westerly attractions, which made it easy to explore. A few hours after check-in, we had an unsettling encounter with a guest who called the police and falsely accused us of trafficking our own children. It was baseless and incredibly upsetting. The police arrived, quickly assessed the situation, and confirmed there was no issue. The hotel manager was gracious and offered to move our room, but we chose to stay. Thankfully, the guest left the next day, and the rest of our stay was calm and comfortable. Despite that bizarre incident, the location is convenient, and the hotel itself offers clean, reliable accommodations.

Friendly staff. Clean room. The AC/Heating unit was loud even when shut off. Strange whistling noise. Could not drown out even with laptop blasting white noise
