This is a motel

This is not the inn or bread and breakfast that it advertises itself in. It's a motel. For a motel, it's very nice. But that's not what I thought I was booking

The Ellery is a lovely spot. I appreciated the breakfast spread and gluten free options. Parking is easy. The old building meant my room door rattled a bit but otherwise it was an excellence stay.

Lovely alternative to chain hotels

Easy check-in, comfortable rooms, more motel than hotel, but very nicely appointed and lovely location in a walkable neighborhood very close to downtown. Dog friendly and very nice breakfast.

This is really a motel more than a hotel and amenities are very sparse in the room that I was in but it is amazingly clean and quiet and situated just perfectly on Elm Street walkable to downtown. I was travelling with my dog and we were able to just walk outside directly from the room which was great.
