Was deeply disappointed when we arrived on the property. We were welcomed into the front lobby which had jackhammers loud music and construction staff yelling. All guests have to use a side entrance where you pass tons of construction trash, a narrow unsafe walkway for elderly people, and it smells like sewage. Further since this is the only way in and out of the property it’s continuously crowded and hard to get through with luggage. The message they sent did say there would be a tiny bit of construction, but it is everywhere and you have to walk by the sound of skill, saw jackhammer loud music and construction people yelling to get to and from your room and restaurant. The restaurant is just pool food. And not full service. There are no alternative milk options at breakfast.
The pictures on Expedia‘s website are actually the artist’s rendition of the finished property or AI and not actually its current state. The locks on the rooms do not work reliably so you will potentially be locked out of your room every time you leave or have to swipe your key 15 to 30 times for the door lock to register it. During our time there of three days, we went through 15 keys, and two full maintenance visits to get our in and out of our room. Every room had this. Further, since we booked 2 Rooms, they place us on separate floors and not adjoining rooms. This was a big problem for our family. Last and not least there are only approximately nine rooms that face the ocean. Stay anywhere else.
