10 out of 10, DO NOT recommend at this time of year. The pictures and descriptions of this hotel lead you to believe there are activities for children, multiple heated pools, swim up bar, and two restaurants. In reality, there are no child friendly activities, there is one heated pool that is small and only 3 feet deep which is where the swim up bar should have been located. The other two pools are absolutely frigid, with the "kid dedicated" pool being about a foot low on water as well. Only one restaurant is open at a time, but there is no indication which is open without actually going there. Per the waitress, "If this one is not open, the other one is, but I'm not sure of the times." I reserved two rooms. We stayed on the pool side. Whenever I've stayed poolside, I expect noise of children playing, splashing, echoing voices. Pool side at this facility meant 60's and 70's classic rock music cranked loudly enough to hear the words starting at 7:30 AM and continued all day long. In my room, the floors were very dirty, the mirror was cracked and broken, there were not enough towels. When housekeeping "cleaned" the next day, dirty linens were left balled up on the beds. When I voiced my issues to the front desk, she responded with "I'm sorry, would you like a copy of your bill?" If I go to SPI again, I will stay at one of the smaller hotels for a fraction of this one. This place was not worth the cost. Dirty, run down, and not as advertised.
