INSIDE THE HOME

This home has recently been totally repainted with other updates including a new kitchen with upgraded stainless appliances, a renovated bathroom, and beautifully refinished hardwood floors. The three bedrooms and one bath will accommodate 8 guests comfortably. The living room features plenty of comfortable seating and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with a DVD player. Additionally, there is a large laundry area downstairs complete with an oversized washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with all pots and pans, dishes, utensils, baking dishes, and most kitchen essentials.

OUTDOOR SPACE

In the back is a wonderful 14' x 14' screened-in porch for relaxing on summer evenings. Also, enjoy the fire pit as well as table and chairs privately located on brick patios in the back of the home. The fenced-in backyard is perfect for cooking out or playing yard games.

In the outdoor shed, you will find three adult bikes, beach chairs, a cooler, a beach wagon, kids' sand toys, and outdoor games including corn hole that are provided for your use.

Great Getaway!

This was the perfect spot for an annual girlfriends' getaway. A clean, comfortable home that was close to the beach - and anything we could need for a beach day was provided our host - close to great shopping, close to lovely restaurants. We enjoyed morning coffee on the screened in porch and an evening fire in the fire pit. Just a great, great stay. We'll definitely be back!!

My family and I had a great stay with at the Flip Flop Cottage. My boys (4 and 2) really loved all the books and games in the house, as well as the backyard games in the shed. The 5 minute walk to the playground/beach was so nice.

July 4th week

We had an amazing stay at the Flip Flop cottage. The location cannot be beat. We were a few minutes walk from the Kids Corner playground. A few minutes more of a walk to the beach (be aware the closest entrance is the blue, steep staircase), and a few minutes walk to downtown. The fireworks were within quick walking distance, and the parade was just a couple houses away. The cottage fit our family of 4 perfectly. The kitchen was well outfitted for us to eat most of our meals in. And the washer/dryer were great for doing laundry and lessening what we needed to pack. Check in and check out were very easy.

My daughter and her family loved their stay. It was a great location for a family with young kids with terrific access to the park to beat all parks and the beach. The back porch and yard were perfect for getting together and everything you possibly could need was there. We were so comfortable and impressed!!!

Perfect home for small family

This was a great little home that we enjoyed very much. The location can't be beat as its super close (walkable) to the playground, south beach, van buren trail, and downtown area. The extra amenities to keep the kids busy were a major plus. We utilized the beach chairs, kits sand toys, and outdoor games included in the outdoor shed. Morning coffee in the screened in porch may have been a favorite part of the trip. We'd definitely consider staying here next year. The only downfall is that there isn't a dishwasher (1st world problems). It was also odd that the house was only stocked with two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels for a family of four to last 5 nights. That could have been fixed with a message to the property manager, but we just bought some extras while we were out.

Great little cottage blocks from the beach

We really enjoyed our stay at flip flop cottage. It was very clean and had plenty of supplies to make our stay comfortable. We especially loved the big screened-in porch. My 4 year old enjoyed the games and books.

Great little house

Was a great house that fitted our needs of a family of 4. Outdoor screened in porch was a great bonus area. While it is close to the beach straight west you do have to walk a few more blocks if you have a wagon as the closest beach access is all stairs. Overall not an issue. Quick walk to town as well
