General Lee Fountain jump at Somernites Cruise

Great hotel, located on the main strip in town. Great Value for your Buck ! Room was good, bed comfortable, Pillow was Aweful... Almost paper thin, even doubled over was not comfortable. I made a Criticism about this at check out & the clerk said she has heard this from everyone, said they are working on getting different ones. I Hope so ! Still not upset with our stay though....

I was told to “check out” - we left at 7am - lobby doesn’t open until 8am. Hopefully charges will be accurate. Pet charges are excessive for caged animals. $20 “per pet” should not refer to numerous “pets” in one cage. “Per pet” should refer to ones that will be running around the room not ones located in one small space. We left our bunnies in the car. Thankfully they were still good in the morning.

No pool! Ice was a Hike! Fruit flies party!

FIrst, the pool was not in operation nor has it been this season. The one ice machine was in a room off of the registration office. The distance from my room to the ice machine was good exercise but not what I expected. The hair dryer in my room did not work. I didn't have time to go down to the office and get another hair dryer. There was a lengthy statement above the toilet about not putting anything in the toilet, even the toilet paper. There wasn't a trash can in the bathroom, so the message was odd. The drain in the bath tub looked awful. There were fruit flies (or that is what I think they are) flying around the room.

This place seriously needs repairs and someone who will actually repair and replace non-functioning lights and other room needs.
lamp was not working and missing a bulb. bulb was flipped to other socket but still remains without one bulb.
rusty toilet paper dispenser missing part to hold paper roll
stains found on 2nd bed sheets located on non-functioning lamp that later had bulb flipped to other socket
nonfunctional light above sink showing could have just needed lights replacement.

Long story short, went to check out, the receptionist was behind the corner talking, would not come to the counter. I paid cash so a $50.00 deposit was to be given back at time of checkout. Someone in my party had bled on a towel, lady at counter goes to check room, brings said towel from the room downstairs into the lobby where she drops it on the floor and says we are keeping 20 for the blood stained towel. Quite embarassing to say the least. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!

We ended up staying in the king room which the room was average. N the next night we stayed in the jacuzzi 2 room suite. The room needs some work. We paid 130.00. n then had to pay 20.00 more for a 12pm check out. The faucets were lose. The jacuzzi tub looked rough. I didn't use it. We couldn't throw out our trash bc all the trash cans outside the room were full. So my suggestion is just get the average room n don't upgrade.

The room had a terrible odor. There were stains on the sheets and blankets. The shower curtain had moldy spots at the bottom. Bathtub looked terribly refurbished. Bathroom lights were constantly flickering. Room 219 could have been better.

Closed lobby. Had to stand outside for five minutes in the dark to wait to be let in. Did not feel safe. Door to my room was open when I got there…and the light didn’t work. I inched into the room praying I wasn’t about to be murdered. WiFi didn’t work. Eight entire channels on TV. Bathroom was dirty and the showerhead didn’t work right. Only redeeming quality was clean sheets. I left in the morning before first light.
