Property had trash and broken glass, was not very tidy at all. Being charged full price for the room and ammedities when not all the ammedeties were available during my stay. The renovstions were not mentioned nor advertised. The excuse was a staffing shortage, when I mentioned the garbage it was picked up thag night. Which means they do not do a property walk around at least once a week ensuring the property is following the Double Tree standards.

There was a constant drug smell in the parking lot. A refrigerator would have been helpful in the rooms. The exterior of the building was dirty and the overall cleanliness of the property was questionable.

Old and tired, needs major renovations

I can't believe a Doubletree hotel is in such condition. Needs major renovation. Carpet is old, center turnstile door is broken, door handles missing at entrance door. Air conditioner is very loud, we need to turn it off for a better night sleep. Traffic noise can be heard. The room assigned is far far away from elevator, anyone with mobility issue need to request room closer to elevator. Breakfast is ok for a fee, same kinds of food every morning ( we stayed 3 nights) although the staff is friendly. Area is ok for convenience.

The front desk person, Jonathan was very welcoming and helpful. We had an issue of concern with a gentleman at the restaurant who refused to sit us and Jonathan helped us speak to the manager. Otherwise, the staff was great and friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Terrible experience

Twice the fire alarm went off… once at 3am and again at 9:30am. Still going actually and no one even seems to care. No direction from anyone, staff just casually going about their business while this ear piercing alarm rings throughout the entire hotel. To sum up our stay, we got no sleep, the place was overcrowded with rude people and the overpriced breakfast was refrigerator cold.

Great Staff, But Room Needs A Makeover

Check-in was smooth and the front desk staff were welcoming, Funny & Helpful, which gave us a great first impression. Unfortunately, the room itself felt quite worn out and in need of serious updating. The furniture was dated, and the bathroom showed clear signs of wear —from chipped fixtures to stained grout, it could definitely use a refresh. Despite these issues, my family still tried to make the most of our stay and enjoyed what they could. The location and a few of the amenities helped offset some of the disappointment. With some renovations, this hotel could really be a great place to stay.

Stayed for one night with family. The hotel was clean with nice reception area although our room did seem a little dated and breakfast was extra instead of included in the room price. My main reason for rating given was the allowance for guests to smoke weed outside the main entrance. I get this is legal in the USA but there seems to be no concern for guests that do not like this. It is not legal in the UK and it was awful having to take my two children through the smoke at the main entrance. Dissapointing.
