It was only one block away from the Clarke Quay MRT station, so the was very nice and convenient. It was also extremely close to a large mall for shopping and dining if one chose to do so. The rooms are very small, but that typical for Singapore “budget” hotels, even though they are not cheap. There is also a small 7eleven right next door which is very convenient so you can buy water for your room since they don’t provide it. It was a little frustrating though when I saw my first room. I was put in one with no window so I called and asked if I could move to one with a window. I was told I didn’t pay for that level of a room so there would be an upgrade charge. To be honest, I don’t think there was an option when I booked it for window/non-window rooms, so I’m not sure if that was just a way to get more money from me or not. Anyways, I did it and then regretted doing it when I saw the new room. Unless your room is facing Hongkong street, a window room is barely worth it so keep that in mind if you’re looking to “upgrade.” Dispite all of that, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Kai for solving an electric issue in my room. The lights just randomly turned off with the key card in the slot. He came up right away to take a look and assure it wouldn’t happen again.

There was a problem with TV which resulted in a room change. Staff were great and made every effort to resolve the problem. Shower is a bit quirky as water goes everywhere on the floor and the toilet as there is no screen or separation in the bathroom. Apart from that, comfortable and excellent location.

Awful hotel with poor advertising. The shower head was over the toilet so there no where to shower and it left the whole bathroom wet. The rooms are not as advertised.. staff service was good from Amirah and Kai.

Not really “at” Clark quay

Did what it said on the tin and ok considering we were only there 2 nights - room very basic and bathroom so small that the loo seat got wet when showering! - they also provided a floor squeegee- but had no choice really as the water would have spread everywhere and into the bedroom if this hadn’t been provided! Price not too bad but considering we paid similar last year and had a much nicer room & facilities at M Social hotel - wouldn’t stay again Also not really at Clarke quay - misleading as we thought due to the title we’d be by the water at Clarke quay but it was a good 5 min walk away

It’s a small hotel with compact rooms but neat and clean. Located steps from Clarke quay and the MRT as well as a hop on hop off bus stop. The pool was especially appreciated after a day of sight-seeing in the heat.

Cozy stay

Great place to stay in Singapore when on a budget. The rooms are very compact but have everything you need. Pool was nice and you could tell it was clean. The breakfast provided at the cafe next door was delicious. Staff very friendly, especially Jess and Anita.

Friendly staff, good location, bed and pillow was comfortable, water pressure easvgreat, good hot water. a/c worked great. Wet bath was a pain in the neck. Made entire bathroom soaking wet, floor would never dry, cracks between the tiles always had water, you would always get your feet wet anytime you went into the bathroom. Dehumidifier helped keep room less humid. Hotel cafe was expensive.
