For the most part, my stay was quite acceptable. Room was comfortable, clean, and relatively modern. Checkin and checkout were easy and handled by a friendly and knowledgable desk clerk. Room rate was very competitive. My criticism would be the quality of breakfast. Poor (old?) scrambled eggs, no meat, ( empty/not refilled ) and somewhat old and stale bread. No pastries of any kind. I was in the breakfast area for a minimum of 45 minutes and not once did I see an attendant. Experience was just not acceptable.

This hotel has evidently been sold since I was here last month. This hotel had previously been professionally managed, well taken care of with a manager and team in place that cared about the property, customers and atmosphere. As soon as I walked in, I knew things had changed. Non-professional attired staff at check-in, lobby not decorated for the holidays, overall appearance of the place was different. Hotel needed vacuuming, room not as perfect as usual and the breakfast was a joke. Dining area was messy, very few items to select. Eggs and sausage were minimal and cold. Juice machines broken, no yogurt or selection at all. I skipped breakfast. I have stayed here over 25 time in the last 5 years. The new owners and management do not come close to the level this hotel had been experiencing. Former management team were excellent. I hate to see this hotel go down this path.

I chose this hotel for location, it’s very walkable to the Main Street, so it’s business friendly. However, it was one of the highest priced hotels in the area. I asked the receptionist if there was an event going on to make it higher priced, but I was one of three guests there, parking lot empty. She gave me a room with a view of the wall & utility wires, pipes. I asked for another room & was given the room next to it with the view of an alley. Finally I was given a room facing the street view, much better. Sad because the view of the nearby bluffs is beautiful & available at other hotels in the area. The room was clean but of the quality of budget hotels.

One of the nicest, friendliest places we have ever stayed! Great and convenient location. Room was spacious and very clean. Front desk called our room about 30-45 minutes after we checked in to see how we were doing and to make sure everything was accommodating for our stay. This was the only hotel we stayed at that did this! Pool floor needs some repair, but nothing that prevented or disrupted a great swim for the kids. Breakfast was great and well stocked/maintained. Lounge area was open in the evenings for drinks. Lobby was adorably decorated for the season. Very inviting. Staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and inviting. Plan to specifically seek out Cobblestone for future travels!

Adequate stay.

This hotel appears to be cutting back in some areas. Breakfast is not what it was. No bacon or sausage, less selection of yogurts. They need to visit the local Holiday Inn to see a great breakfast. They also are not opening their bar at night and check-in staff seems young and inexperienced. I have stayed here close to 25 times and this was not the best visit. No bodywash in the shower. Container was empty.
