Loved this place! I came to Sauk City because the hotels in Madison were crazy expensive during UW graduation week - I am so glad I found this motel and town - and from now on we will be staying there! Loved the spacious immaculate room, the kind staff - the adorable main street and shops/dining by the Wisconsin rover....We arrived so late bx our flight was delayed they were all so kind and patient. Breakfast was provided, I wish I had a bathing suit for the beautiful pool - and VINTAGE brewery was really something else - I can't wait to come back!

I enjoyed my stay. The staff is friendly. The facilities although dated, were well kept. I loved the lodge feel. My kids enjoyed the pool area. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for service and care.

Check in was great. Staff at the front desk was very kind. The room was on the pool side so it was a little noisy but the beds were comfy. The bath spout didn’t work, you had to put your finger in the spout to lift the lever to get the shower to work. Housekeeping turned our refrigerator off for some reason when we still had milk, soda's & water in the frig so when I put my leftovers in there that night I didn’t realize they turned the frig off & my food & milk went bad. Things happen so I wasn’t about to let it ruin my day, we still enjoyed our trip in the area, Sauk city is a beautiful area to visit.

Great stay at the Cedarberry Inn

The Cedarberry Inn was a great place to spend the night. The room was clean and in very good condition. It was large enough to easily accommodate a king bed instead of a single queen. I would have preferred a TV larger than what looked like a large computer monitor but the picture was very good, so not a huge deal. I appreciated the fact they didn’t increase the room rate for UW-Madison graduation weekend like those in the Madison, WI, area did.

We really liked the Cedarberry Inn. The facility was very clean and the room was spacious. We stayed in one of the one bedroom suites which was perfect for our family of four (teenaged children). The pool facility was nice and the continental breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Every staff person I encountered was friendly. Would choose the Cedarberry again if traveling in/through the Sauk City/Prairie du Sac area. Or Baraboo. Or the Dells!

Great place to stay

I was unsure at first with it being a Motel and it being a bit dated but I was proven wrong so quickly. This place was so clean. The rooms are super spacious, the staff is amazing, the breakfast is perfect, cleaning staff is great, the pool is heated and just perfect. I’ve stayed at seven hotels the last two months and this was by far the best
