Walked in to check in and nobody was available. While waiting for help I noticed a whole in the ceiling. Place smelled horrendous. Waffle maker had a dead fly on it. Finally got checked in and went to my room where I discovered horrible stains on the mattress and bed bug activity. Garbage all over the property as well as homeless people and drug addicts walking around and living there. By far the worst hotel experience of my life. This place needs to be condemned. Expedia should cut all ties with this facility. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

The fact that the floor in the room was wet Whenever we walked water would squish from the floorboards. We told the girl at the front desk and she said it should stop soon. We decided to go to another hotel. We were still charged for our 3 night stay. I do not that that was right.

I recently stayed at Baymont by Wyndham Bay City for two nights during a business trip and, unfortunately, had a highly disappointing experience. To begin with, the parking lot felt unsafe, with no visible security system or surveillance cameras. During our stay, one of the tires on our rental truck was slashed overnight, which added unnecessary stress to our trip and raised serious concerns about guest safety. The overall condition of the property was poor. The exterior and courtyard area appeared unkempt and unclean, with visible trash scattered throughout. The grass had not been mowed, and we observed someone feeding what looked like chicken bones or fried food to the birds--adding to the neglected atmosphere. Our room was only semi-clean. There was water seeping up from beneath the vinyl plank flooring, creating a squelching sound and an unpleasant feeling when walking. The patio door windows were dirty, covered with smudges and fingerprints. The hallways appeared to have not been vacuumed in some time, and there was a persistent unpleasant odor throughout the building, including in our room. Additional issues included a refrigerator that was too dirty to use, forcing us to store food in a cooler we had brought with us. The electrical outlets, including the one powering the TV, were faulty and kept losing power. Notably, there was no phone in the room, so we had to walk down to the front desk to request assistance, which was inconvenient. While the price of the room was r

DO NOT STAY HERE. All 3 rooms had pee stains on bed sheets, bed bugs, mold. Refrigerator leaking all over the floor and they say it was mop water. One bed had black mold on it and other had a huge black stain that looked like dried blood from a murder scene. staff refused to refund me. had to get with expedia and my bank to get the charges cancelled/refunded. staff said they couldnt refund me because i removed the sheets and now they "couldnt igive the room to someone else because they would have to re-clean the room". this place should not be open to the public. very unsafe and dangerous conditions. I am sending all of the info and pictures to the city council to review. I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Where to begin. We had to call on the phone to get someone to the front desk at 4pm. The room was absolutely terrible. The sheets were stained and had holes in them. The walls were scraped up with large gouges in them. The couch was ripped and darkened with wear. We were given another room which was the exactly the same other than the sheets were ok. Baymont Wyndham needs to evaluate this place.

Location great, but needs repair, cleaning, new linens, and a lot of TLC. Loud music from long term guests at 2:30 am. The floor was sticky. The breakfast area was a mess. The grounds were unkept. I thought a Baymont by Wyndham would have some standards.

The room was large. So was the king size bed. There was no TV remote control in the room. The choice of tv networks was large but no premium networks like HBO was offered. The last night of my stay the tv connection was lost. There was no maid service so the bed was never made. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast. It was very simple. I would have appreciated a banana to put on my dry cereal. Maybe a sweet roll. Excellent location. I attended a photography workshop in Bay City, MI. Was able to reach the venue in only 10’. I wasn’t happy with a 2nd floor room. I would have liked to see an ice machine on the 2nd floor. Overall, a good experience.
