We liked the location, close to shops, restaurants and the Historic Railroad Train Ride. The view of the ocean was great and the back yard had picnic tables to eat or play board games at. About 10 steps down to the sand. The fireplace was out of order but comfy beds and a nice extra large TV. An older building but nicely remodeled. Beautiful exterior plants. A complimentary breakfast might be nice. Easy Parking.

Very clean, comfortable and convenient motel right on the beach. Friendly and helpful owner. This was perfect for our couple nights on the coast. Steps off the balcony to the beach and close to restaurants and other beach towns.

This property is a hidden gem! The room was very clean and well appointed. The front desk staff were very kind and informative. The room was literally steps from the beach. No, the fireplace did not work and there were a few cosmetic things in the room but I have seen worse at a chain hotel. The kitchenette was a huge bonus. Cannot give enough stars to this property.

Absolutely love this place. Its right on the beach and a great deal. The family that owns it are very friendly and treat you right! You can tell tey really care. We've stayed at the Trade winds several times and this will always be our first choice when visiting Rockaway

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate my disability. Had a ground floor room with steps down to the beach with a wonderful picnic table area where we could prepare the crabs we had caught. It was a very quiet spacious room with a kitchen and view of the beach. Will definitely stay again!
