This property has a lot of potential since it’s right in the heart of Dewey, faces the bay on an attractive cove, and is a short walk to the beach. Unfortunately it is poorly run and not kept up. We were among several customers whose check in was significantly delayed because the rooms were not clean. No one at the front desk seemed to care, shrugging it off like it was par for the course. Worse, than the delay was the broken down, rattling AC system. It made such a horrible racket that we had to turn it off in order to sleep. This of course meant foregoing AC on a hot night. Consequently no one got much sleep. When I reported the problem to the front desk, the response was “yeah, those need to be replaced”. It astounds me that we spent over $350 a night for this place. I do not recommend it.

The location of this hotel is perfect! It is close to the beach, close to restaurants, the people are very kind and respectful. There is a parking fee but it’s worth it because my car was close to our room and safe. I highly recommend it if you have a family due to the pool access, the lake where you can fish and kayak, or go on a relaxed walk. There is a pet fee which I did think it was a bit overpriced but if you love your pets it’s priceless right? My kids and I got to see the sun set and sunrise which was absolutely breathtaking . The only thing was the wait to get our room. I recommend to go with a mindset of waiting for at least 30 minutes to get checked in. Other than that, the place was absolutely perfect!

Second stay because i enjoyed the bay view. The first stay No rooms were available at check in and of course they said that some staff had called in. Unfortunately they said the same thing this time. This property has a problem with having their rooms available at check in. They also added parking fees. The manager was not available for the entire 5 day stay and no one could contact her. Extreme lack of professionalism. The staff left a message on her phone asking if my parking could be comped for a day due to having to just sit around waiting for a room and she just never responded. Won’t stay here again. More of a motel than a hotel in service and quality.

Great for adults and kid friendly as well. Hotel rooms need to be updated but it’s okay for sleeping. Pool it’s great for kids as it is for adults. Stuff super nice. Great location.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. The views of the bay from our patio was exquisite but I wish they had high-top chairs to see above the patio rail. The room was in need of renovation, especially the kitchenette area.

Good on a budget

They charged an extra $16 resort fee at check in. They then made me sign an agreement to be evicted without refund if any guest complains for noise for any reason. AC fan was loud and rackety and ran all night. Bay beach set up was super cool. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Unfortunate birthday trip

Room was flooding, was moved to a bayside room to compensate, went from King bed reserved for Fiance's birthday to a room with two small beds. Was told no other King room was possible. Listing said pool open in may, was not open. Keycards did not work for half the stay, to get into room you would need someone from the office with an administrative key every time. Hate writing this review because the staff was kind and seemed to be doing there best. Hopefully they figure things out for the summer season, but I can't honestly recommend them to anyone.

Great place to stay

The room was great, but husband and I are in our 70's and three flights of stairs was a bit much with luggage and two dogs. Staff was great, super friendly, the view was awesome, did kayaking with my one dog on the one beautiful day that we had out of four. Weather is what it is so you just grin and bear it. We would definitely stay there again, but on the first floor.

Dated, but clean. Worth the money, kinda. Our room had something odd on the counter. Fridge didn’t work. Toilet sink very close, you kinda had to shimmy in to wash hands. Didn’t pay much attn other than that and it was just an overnight, so it did not matter to us. Had I stayed longer I would have asked for another room. The place was clean. You could walk places. You could sit next to the water. We’d try here again for a longer stay.
