The room was great. Spacious and had what we needed. The kitchenette was an added bonus. The view from the room was beautiful and lovely to use the deck in the evening. It's a bit of a walk up and down a steep hill to town but otherwise a lovely walk to the city.

It seems as if there is not enough staff to take care of the facility. Checking in the room was not ready until 4:30 pm. The restaurant does not have quality food. Tried twice to be sure it was not just a fluke. The carpets are very old and worn. Generally the hotel is showing it’s age and doesn’t seem to be in the process of reinventing.

Beautiful views, enhanced by our free room upgrade which gave us uninterrupted views over the lake. Room was kept clean to a good standard throughout our stay, had to prompt for a few extra coffee sachets since we don’t do decaf. Loved the spa, the sauna could be hotter but we didn’t stay for the sauna. Easy access to Queenstown, the hill on the way back can be a little much at the end of the night but there’s always a bus or taxi. Overall very happy

I was never there. I lost 800 dollars on this booking. I made a date mistake while booking and within 5 mins of the booking I contacted the property and expedia. After multiple rounds of contacting property and expedia, neither party got back to me with any response. Generally not the service I get from Expedia.
