The PEOPLE were fantastic! From Marjorie at the concierge to Sara and Ebony our servers and Ashley at the Spa. Signage and communication were subpar, we were unable to visit the corn maze or sunflowers, best we could figure you can't go if your staying on property, didn't know the pool was open, no map or directions for getting around property on golf cart. Room was outdated and overpriced, unpainted parts of ceilings, holes in bedding. Really wish coffee service was available,.beyond your "complimentary cup in the room the only other choice was a sit down meal, if they were open, or a 45 minute wait at the coffee shop. We will be back but don't intend to stay on property.

The room was clean, nice, and had a pretty view of the lake. The front desk staff were amazing and polite. The Azalea cafe had great baristas and were always friendly. The food and staff at the Peidmont dining room were less than spectacular. We ordered room service our first night just to make it easy to get settled in with 2 kids. The Reuban tasted old and stale. The burger tasted like a frozen brick had a few layers of ice before being microwaved. The fries were good til they got cold, and there is no microwave in the room. Our breakfast there was also a let down. Stale, hard biscuits, soggy greasy potatoes, waffles with double the amount of sugar in the batter making them hard and tough. They tasted like candy and thats without syrup! The oatmeal was good, and bacon was crispy. Our waitress seemed annoyed to be there. We tried to order room service (peidmont) again on our last night since we had a long adventurous day and the kids were cranky. No one answered. The front desk tried to help but ended up transferring me to a manager who let the transfer go to voicemail. I contacted the virtual concierge that assured me someone would answer, but I still had no luck. After getting the kids bathed and ready for a chill night I tried one more time to order; again no answer. I thought maybe they were busy and not able to do room service orders. I ended up going down there. They were very NOT busy (8p Sun). I ended up getting a pizza from Azalea's, to bring back.It was delicious.
