The room was nice and the balcony overlooking the creek was really nice. Having to drive around to the other side of the creek to check in and also eat breakfast was rather inconvenient. The biscuits and gravy at breakfast were great and the coffee was good too!

Lacks disclosure on where the rafting on the stream is. Air conditioning is lacking in the larger rooms. There's 2 buildings that are there. Be sure to call and ask about which building your room is in. You might want the front building for convenience. You might want the back building to watch the geese and creek on the balcony.

We enjoyed our stay at Creekside Inn. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. You can tube down the river for free that runs in the back of the hotel or swim in the pool. Close to everything. We will stay here again. 😊

Liked—cleanliness, no bugs, simple but pretty with lovely river. Bed was hard & not real comfortable but ok for 1 night . Liked that one bed had mattress cover & pad. Other bed had mattress pad but not the cover. Feel safer against bugs if there is a mattress cover. Good breakfast, easy check in & out. Liked that it is Close to Dollywood.

Pros: The staff was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was pleasant and very helpful. The room was clean. When the door to the balcony was shut, we couldn't hear the river at all. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. There were ducks on everything! (And there was a baby duck in the river.) The kitchenette was amazing - anything you might need in a kitchen was readily available. Dish soap and a sponge were provided, as well! Our fellow 2nd building patrons were friendly. Cons: The rooms avaliable when we checked in weren't in the main building; we had to drive around the block to a separate building. We weren't informed that the room had a bed and a sofa bed; I was under the impression that it would've been 2 beds based on my reservation. Fellow patrons at breakfast act like they never learned to share. I was making coffee, and there was no one else at the coffee station. No sooner do I start pouring sugar and creamer into my cup, 5 people had gotten out of their seats and rushed to the coffee station. I was reached in front of, bumped into, and spilled on. Manners matter, people - especially on vacation! Other than that, it was a great stay at a great price. Definitely will stay again!

Not what it appears to be…

We arrived at night and had difficulty locating the check-in area, as it is a separate building. While the staff was nice and I received a few polite texts checking in throughout our 1-night stay, the overall stay was not what I expected. We will not be returning there. Because it was late and we just wanted to get through the night, we did not call the front desk or respond to text messages. The pictures of the property are deceiving and don’t show it is nestled between a trailer/RV park on one side and an abandoned broken down building on the other side. The room, upon inspection, was not cleaned sufficiently. There was dirt in the bathtub, and the toilet seat was not secured properly, but very loose. One of the beds appeared to have blood-stained sheets. The sheets seemed to be laundered, but still had large visible stains. On white sheets, that is a big no! This hotel may be fine for some, but we did not feel comfortable in the room or on the property. I definitely don’t think it is worth the rating of “9.0 wonderful” on hotels.com.

This is not VIP property. The reception is in one place, the pool in another, the rooms in a third. The room is in need of renovation. The bathroom is disgusting. The sheets on one bed were dirty. The ice machines on neither floor were working. The pool was dirty. Only one umbrella. The others were broken. The elevator? Better look at the pictures. The view of the river is a view of properties full of caravans. I travel a lot and have always given reviews a score of 10. This is not VIP for me. Poor, poor, poor and expensive for what it offers. We booked this hotel last minute as we were driving through town. We absolutely loved it and even tried to extend an extra day but couldn't due to work. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the balcony overlooking the creek was wonderful. We sat out there for several hours just listening to the creek. The breakfast was also very good. This is in a great location and close to everything. We will definatly be back!
