One Oak Vacation Rental - Lake Charlevoix Area

This open concept home features spacious living and a dining area with lots of windows that look out to a peaceful wooded view that will be the setting for those fun summer bonfires with smore's and hobo sandwiches! The home is nestled on 10 wooded acres with a walking trail. The living room has powered theater seating, so everyone can recline (charge their cell phone if need be) and enjoy a movie.

Sleeps 6 (1-King Sized Bed, 1-Queen Sized Bed, & 2-Twin XL Beds):
The master bedroom features a king sized bed (sleeps 2) with a private bathroom, walk-in closet & AC. The 2nd bedroom has a queen sized bed (sleeps 2) and walk-in closet. The 3rd bedroom has two Twin XL beds (sleeps 2) and closet space.

This home is minutes from Ye Nyne Olde Holles Golf Course, Whiting Park Beach, Sommerset Yacht Club, and the Ironton Ferry. Hop on the Ironton Ferry to spend the day shopping/dining in the City of Charlevoix and take in the sunset over Lake Michigan or travel the winding road along Lake Charlevoix to Boyne City and enjoy the fun summer festivities offered here all summer. Boyne City, East Jordan & Charlevoix are all within 8 miles of this vacation rental home!

For winter skiers, Boyne Mountain is a 13 mile drive going through Boyne City. Before hitting the slopes in the morning, stop at the Boyne City Bakery for a hot coffee and one of their famous crepes to take with you!

Quiet, Clean, and Cozy

My adult children and their spouses joined us for a long weekend. The house was perfect. There was plenty of space and plenty of everything else we were looking for. The location is somewhat remote but also somewhat perfect. It is quiet and peaceful and only the very loudest boats on Charlevoix Lake are audible. There are TVs everywhere with plenty of WiFi for whatever you want or need. The house is very clean and it was extra handy to be able to utilize the garage when loading/unloading luggage, groceries, and whatnot. There were all the kitchen amenities you would need on a vacation and plenty of hot water. 100% would return.

Great spot

Myself and 3 others stayed here for a weekend fishing trip. The place was exactly what we were looking for, and it was equipped with more than just essentials which is always a plus. The hosts are very quick with responses if you have any questions or issues. We however, had zero issues ourselves. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to stay near lake charlevoix!

Beautiful home and property! It was such a nice location for visits to Charlevoix and Petoskey. The house was spotless, with a well-stocked kitchen. We especially loved being able to relax in the backyard around the fire pit and playing the yard games provided!!!

Extremely clean, very welcoming and comfortable

We truly enjoyed staying in this house. It was in a perfect location to be up north near Charlevoix and Boyne City. We immediately felt welcome and at home The layout is very open and the owner provided everything needed to accommodate our stay. The outside setting is private and park like. We took a short walking trail through the woods in back to enjoy the fresh air and fall colors. We are looking forward to plan a stay again next year.

Our expectations were surpassed once we arrived to the property. It was exceptionally clean, quiet, and convenient. The location is perfect, almost equally situated between Charlevoix, Boyne City, and East Jordan. During the day and night it is quiet which allows for calm and relaxed time with family. Property and home were both very nice, clean and comfortable. Loved the walking trail and watching the turkeys and deer every morning and at dusk. Close enough to shopping, food & the lake, but plenty of space and privacy at the house. The kitchen was amazingly stocked with everything you could think of!needing!

Annual trip up north

We loved staying at this property. It was really centrally located to everything we wanted to do (Sailboat ride and downtown Charlevoix, The Landing restaurant, Boyne City, a trip to Mackinac Island etc). The house was very clean, had all the amenities we needed, and had a beautiful yard.

My husband and I stayed at Oak one cabin for a week in July for an upcoming wedding. We were pleasantly surprised that the location offered a close boat launch, cute golf course, biking trails, and the bonus ferry and restaurant 2 miles down the road. This home was ideal for our family, including being easy to navigate for a family member using a walker. Being able to park in the garage and the ramp in the garage to get into the house were a big help. Our children enjoyed that the third bedroom now has twin beds instead of a pull-out couch. The home was the most well-appointed of any vacation home we have rented. The owners thought of everything! Convenience to the Ironton Ferry was great. The home was clean and comfortable. We would be glad to stay again!
