The property has a lake beside it which makes it more beautiful. The room was clean and spacious. Good place to stay with family. The staff is friendly and the breakfast has good options.

We enjoyed our stay. We only stayed one night, but we used the jacuzzi and still enjoy the castle architecture. The hotel was clean and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was way overpriced- get it included if you can.

Overall okay, will not be returning sadly. Last at the front desk was very rude when trying to check in, didn’t have enough blankets or towels in room. Also didn’t display the pool hours, went to go swimming Sunday evening and they said pool closes at 6 but didn’t have any signs up.

The carpet on the floors really needs to be changed or upgraded to something other than carpet. The carpet gives a dingy dirty look & feel. Other than that its a very very nice hotel. Staff was awesome, the vibe is great.

Had a lovely 2-night stay at the hotel as a quick reprieve from the city. The amenities were great, and we took full advantage of both pools and the hot tub. The grounds were lovely, and even with events going on at the property, it was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was good, but the same thing 2 days in a row was a little boring. Overall an excellent experience and would stay again.

Are you still love The Shard and Tara but it's old and outdated is there 20 years ago and all through these years and nothing has been updated I had a great room unfortunately I had to check out early but it's just old and there's absolutely no room service there is absolutely no pool service you would have to go to the coffee shop and buy something to bring it out to the pool or like the little convenience store in that hotel even just for a water ice water or ice tea

The hotel is outdated. Exterior is amazing, interior however needs an update. Shower did not work properly, rug look like it belonged in a 48hr episode and ironing board was broken. The staff however were friendly and pleasant. I would not stay there again for that price.

Upon arrival room was not clean. I notify the staff that we would be going out to dinner if they could go in give it a little clean the coffee maker still had an old used coffee, insert on it bathroom floor fell sticky, and all the surface areas looked like they had been clean by a dirty rag. We came back from dinner. Room was not touched because it was late. Decided get some rest and let the front to know in the morning next morning. I let the front know the state of the room and then ask them if they could have the room clean anywhere before one to two as we were leaving early and coming back to take a little nap before heading back out again we came back the room still had not been serviced we wear wating in the lobby area till around 3 i finally asked again and they has it servise but its litterly no clean yet again they just made the bed and gave us clean towls. It did pit a damper on out trip cause we wear celebrating our 24th anniversary and we wear lloking foward to staing there
