Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price

From the moment I stepped into the elevator, I had a feeling this stay wasn’t going to go well. The room was extremely small — the king-sized bed took up most of the space. We even had to duck to avoid hitting our heads on the TV, which was awkwardly positioned. Shockingly, there was no closet — the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in that didn’t have one. The bathroom was in poor condition. The bathtub had rust and was visibly dirty. The TV didn’t work properly; the picture was blurry and even the remote control barely functioned. There was no continental breakfast, no ice bucket — instead, they charged $2.00 for a bag of ice. That just added to the feeling that the hotel cuts corners everywhere it can. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s definitely not worth the price, and the experience did not match the impression given by their advertising. Don’t be fooled.

This elevator doesn’t go all the way up!

We arrived at 7:30pm, the elevator was broken and we were on the fifth floor. I immediately informed management but spoke to another of the tenants who said it had been down all day and another who got stuck in the elevator. The night clerk did send a maintenance man but that was more of a platitude as it did not get fixed. Needless to say we carted our luggage up five flights to find a dirty room with a stained mattress seeping though to the sheets. We also found several little black bugs on the mattresses. I again complained, they moved us to a ground floor room that was better, clean at least. The mattresses are like sleeping on plywood and the frames are Biot specials. The WiFi was weak but not a huge consideration for us.

When we arrived room looked clean except for empty coke can left in bedroom. Bathroom door knob came off first time we tried to close it. Tv kept losing signal. Location was good, beach nice, bowl overfilled only 1 umbrella near entire pool. Store had necessities but $5 for a personal size bag of Doritos? Would not stay again

Very old

The room was dirty. There was hair all over the shower wall. It is very old and in need of a renovation. The staff however was very nice. The check in was terrible but she tried to help me.

Beds were hard as a rock air conditioner was so load sound like a jackhammer. Said something to front desk nobody showed up to look at it. Balcony was dirty. Outside the door in the walk way was filthy and trash cans were over flowing. Parking was a nightmare. Elevator did not work had to carry are stuff down four flights of stairs. Said something to the manager and all she said was sorry……but you got are money so it really didn’t matter or when I said something it would have gotten taken care of…..

This is a pretty good property for its age and location. Staff was super helpful. The only downside is lack of trolleys for luggage, parking availability that’s convenient to the rooms and having to bring our linens to the office. The business center computer internet cuts off internet every few minutes and the printer is offline. These things made it a little frustrating but other than that we enjoyed everything else especially the beach views.

Bathtub was chipping paint, exhaust just above the door wasn’t installed properly. No door closed or opened properly, the picture on the tv was constantly fuzzy and pixelated and about 2x daily the tv would turn to total fuzz for about 10 min each time. The property and rooms are definitely outdated. The rental office was more updated than the rooms were.

Terrible room but amazing view!

Well my daughter got stuck in the elevator twice. It was being worked on more than it was being used. The door knob in our bathroom was unattached and fell off several times. We received no clean towels or linens, no housekeeping and trash was on the walkways to our room. We reported a substance in the pool, we waited and no one checked on it. And worst of all, mold was on the ac vents, toilet, tub and wall. I asked to be moved to another room but it was full. Unbelievably the fire alarm was going off when we came back to the room, I called to report it and no one came to check on it. But location was great and the beach was amazing!!!
