The property stated they didn’t not receive the Expedia reservation so the only room they had available was not waterfront, which is what we reserved, but across the road in a building rented out for someone else’s family reunion. They sat and smoked/talked right outside our window late at night and very early in the morning. We ended up getting up to go home by 6am.

The manager was absolutely great!!! Also the guy on 3rd shift handled our situation very professionally!!! But sadly our reservations were wrong from the start, they told us there was a boat plug in but there was not. And to top it off we were cramped into a small room for 5 people (203) woke up at 3am after laying down at 1 to BED BUGS biting us!!! We absolutely FREAKED OUT!!! The 3rd shift guy took care of us but that last part is just completely unacceptable!!! I hope this helps someone avoid a recurring issues with this place!!! I should have looked further at the reviews before booking. Then I would have seen that many rooms there have had bed bug issues and we could have avoided this all together, that is on me!! The info is there!!!

Dear sir, Well, this may not be what you want to hear. I booked online, which I found out is a mistake. We received a confirmation on a king room in the Lodge with a gtd lake view. We were excited upon arriving at the Lodge and surroundings. The desk clerk never mentioned anything about our accommodations, other than have a nice time. We had an event to attend at Pfeffer Scout Res, but we took time to check out the “room”, which turned out to be a cottage. It had two BR’s with a double bed in each. We immediately left, went back to the desk with the problem. We were then told you had overbooked, and there was nothing else available, other than cottage with QB’s for $345. We cancelled and left. Wound up staying in Eddyville at a Hampton, which was outstanding, and will go back to. Wanted to bring our in-laws back, but you don’t offer king beds at all. No thanks, we won’t be back to your place! Thanks anyway, John M Robinson Jackson, Tn.

Not Happy!

Well start ofd had to wait 15 minutes in line to get my rm key and only had 2 people in front of me, then get my room and its a handicap room with a small bed, my husband's feet hung off the end of it, the air in the room was horrible we woke up threw the night wet from sweating the sink water had no pressure. Then we orderd our fish dinner from the restaurant in hotel was there in time to pick it up and had to wait 15 more minutes for someone to get our pricey dinner which at that point the fried fush dinner was mushy was not gd at all!! And we didnt get any of our sauses we requested!! Could not go in the poor after the sun staryed to set. Just not happy and was not.much to do at all there!
