The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was as cold as the outside air and took 4 hours to get warm enough to sleep. I am a professional driver and stay in many hotels. The fact that it took so long to get warm enough to sleep means that sleep deprivation existed the next day. Not good for a pro-driver.

Room was clean. Shower pressure was barely a trickle. Door didn't have a chain and felt very flimsy, so it didn't feel safe. Towels were like sandpaper. Check in took over 15 minutes - not in line, just took that long to check me in for some reason.

In a bind, I would stay here again because it is very close to Dartmouth, I felt safe, the room was spacious, clean, quiet, and the staff friendly. There was a strong musty smell that hit me every time I re-entered the room, likely due to the age of the property.

It was hard to get the room temp right. Not business friendly. The windows were broken. The price for one night not booked thru Expedia was over $300 and the room was definitely not worth it. Very small cramped room. It looked old with minimal improvements.

The motel is older but clean and comfortable, Staff is super friendly and helpful. Very quiet with river in back. Would stay again

The bed was comfortable. The view from room 22 of the river was lovely. The refrigerator/freezer was good. They did a shoddy half job of updating an old motel. There was some mold. Very tiny rooms.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. This facility is on the bank of the Connecticut River and the surroundings were very nice with the fall colors.The room was clean and warm and the #2 rating is accurate. The establishment is dated with its furnishings and decor but it was a good value for the money. If you're looking for economy and not useless glitz and glitter, this is the place for you. Nice and quiet.

The room was very disgusting.. Dirty.. Dead insects.. Would not walk on floors.. kept sox on.. Would not sleep in bed.. kept clothes on.. Strange gurgling sounds from bathroom.. Wall paper had holes in it.. Worst place we ever stayed.. PLUS most expensive place in 4 days in Vermont !!.. We feel sorry for the 'managers', who were nice.. Hope they were not cheated into buying the place
