Staff was unhelpful and unconcerned with helping with travel delays and losing one night stay out of 9 due to airline debacle. Management wouldn’t work with Hotels.com even though they told me they would take care of it and not to worry. They weren’t that friendly either and at once point the front desk guy joked he wished people would leave him alone so he could get the laundry done. I asked repeatedly in several languages to get more coffee pods without success. Housekeeping is only 2 days a week. I wouldn’t stay here again and La Quinta should take their name off this hotel.

Our room was exactly what we wanted - pleasant, clean, conveniently located. Staff was very nice and efficient. The only issues needing attention to our knowledge were that there were only two chairs and no tables at all in the whole enclosed pool area - noplace to sit and relax or set belongings while swimming - and the only ice machine for the entire hotel was out of order and no ice was available anywhere on the premises.

When i returned to the hotel around midnight after work. I was loading in equipment when the night desk person asked me “if i needed any help” but i could tell by her tone she was insinuating that i didn’t belong there. Mind you i checked in earlier that day and when i returned the parking lot was packed. So plenty of people must have come in. It was just weird energy to get from a Spanish woman in this political climate. I continued to load my gear into my room so walked past her a few more times.. each time she was clearly watching me like i was a criminal. If i wasn’t 2 hours away from KC and hadn’t worked all night i would have left immediately.
