Check-in was quick and easy. The host was friendly and overall nice. The room was clean. The AC was on when I came in which was nice since it was so hot out. A couple of things though. No small table next to or in front of the couch. The couch was very comfortable however. The TV was too high on the wall imo, but did swivel to view from the couch to the bed.

Rustic Getaway

It was super comfy and cute. Rustic log cabin. We stayed inside the main lodge. The owners are really nice. Very accommodating. Breakfast options were good. Had a nice stay.

So, so hotel.

Disappointing, multiple patched paint areas around ceiling, filthy bath fan, stained carpet near room door, wall gouges in numerous locations. Mattress was basic hotel quality, room lights located located only on wall by pull out loveseat, no room darkening curtains…only louvred blinds over windows letting a LOT of light in from on outside light right above the window. Worst problem was desk clerk trying to charge me 2 additional times, for the room which had ALREADY been paid in advance during the reservation on Hotels.com…I even signed on to my Citi Bank account and showed her the charge had already been paid…and she STILL wanted to charge me AGAIN! Ridiculous, is the only way I can describe it!

We stayed in the cabin unit, which was really a duplex. Nice unit, everything we needed. Noticed they had chairs and an ashtray right out front between the units, but since the other unit was vacant we lucked out. Air conditioner was inadequate for the space, super hot until early morning!
