Room was clean and efficient. The hot water was not working the night we checked in. When we called about it in the am they said someone was coming to fix it and we could go to the lobby and they would allow us to shower in another room. It was raining and that was not going to work for the three of us. We had to check out that am and just figured we’d shower at our next hotel. Fortunately the plumbers arrived early and were able to get it working in time for us to shower in our room prior to checking out. We had rainy weather and didn’t use the pool but had a drink at the bar and ordered food for our room. Service was very good. The continental breakfast was great. Overall it was a great stay. Our only regret is not asking for a first floor room as there were no elevators in our building and our suitcases were heavy. The property is very pretty and although there was some noise from the pool and bar area in the evening it didn’t impact our stay in a negative manner. Lots of options for eating within walking distance.

I like the location but the traffic was a nightmare. The heavy traffic was after the season too! Ogunquit while walkable has a serious growth and traffic issue. Also, parking is problematic. Likely will not return.

The staff were outstanding. Loved the pool and jacuzzi. We wished they had some eggs,pancakes,bacon at the breakfast buffet . Transportation to and from the town would have been a plus. We did love our stay there though but next time I think we might go closer to the town and beach!

First time will be our last time

We were in the old part of the “resort” and it was bad. From walking on the decking and stairs that we thought were going to give way, to no place to put our clothes, no where to hang clothes. Couldn’t open window because so many holes in screen. Doors would not close properly and stay closed. My husband kept hitting his head getting out of bed, because of clipped ceiling. The best part about the whole place was the bar tender Richard!
