My stay at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham Ocala FL I-75 was an absolute disaster. From the moment I stepped into the first room, I knew something was off. There were bugs crawling around, and when I pulled back the covers, I was horrified to find pee stains underneath—completely unacceptable. On top of that, the room clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. There were greasy fingerprints all over the tables, dust buildup in the corners, and to make things even worse, random pubic hairs in the shower. Disgusting. After complaining to the front desk, they moved me to another room, but somehow, things got even worse. This time, there was an actual poo stain on the bedding. At that point, I was beyond frustrated. Instead of a real solution, the staff tried to make up for it by offering unlimited snacks like Cheetos and soda, as if that would erase the absolute filth I had just experienced. No amount of junk food could make me stay another night in that place. It was one of the most disgusting and poorly maintained hotels I’ve ever encountered.

Very clean but needed repairs.

Our experience was good, however the room needed a few repairs. There was a window cracked in the bathroom, some stains from mold, and the room darkening shade was off the track.

Not 2 star as advertised. Noisy, room smelled, tub had sand in it, hair on toilet, rust on mirror and refrigerator. Liked bathroom mirror, staff sent over maintenance guy to get sand out of shower to no avail. Enjoyed praise and worship music being play in lobby when I checked out ( that made up for everything). I hope Manager is recovering.

The room was dirty floors was dirty looks like it wasn’t swept or mopped in a long time, soap from previous guest still in tub. House keeper knocked on my door at 9am to see if o was checking out soon I paid extra for late check out since we didn’t arrive til after midnight and I have a new born which she woke banging on my door so I just got my stuff together and left no reason to stay if baby can’t sleep. Just. Wasted that extra money.
