The entire resort has a fantastic view of the mountains. We paid for 5 star hotel price, but lived in a 3 star hotel amenities. Our room and the floor hallway are very old and poor maintained. We had dinner at the main restaurant. Food was terrible and overpriced. Not worth the money we paid. Completely not recommend.

Beautiful historic hotel in the White Mountains. Make sure to make restaurant reservations well in advance because everything books up and there is not much close by.

We had a wonder view in the Presidential wing. We were upgraded to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We only stayed 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. Amenities, service, atmosphere were all phenomenal!

The rooms were clean and so were public spaces but they definitely need a refresh which I was told they are beginning in November. The property is amazing and historic and deserves to be done. It is truly spectacular space.

The food was mediocre at best!! Nothing was hot ! I believe the au gratin potatoes were made earlier and then just popped in the microwave. They were not hot nor creamy ! My lobster bisque soup was just warm I got a dessert I didn't order and it was stale. For the amount of money we paid I expected way more - the stay was nice but the food had a lot to be desired

Picturesque and such amazing history! We splurged and stayed one night of a 9 night trip leaf peeping. Good: views, variety of onsite restaurants, shops, golf, comfortable main lobby and other seating areas, pool. Not so hot: Rosebrook Bar was a hot mess. Nobody knew how to make a drink correctly and the service was terrible. We only saw 1 waiter and 1 bartender. Checking out was clumsy with trying to find a bellhop, then getting your name on a list, waiting for them to come get luggage, then waiting for the valet. Not horrible but be sure you allow for plenty of extra time to get out of there.

Amazing views from everywhere! Staff was very attentive. Hotel is impressive. They knew it was our anniversary and sent up sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries...nice touch! Bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Food was very good. Hiking; dining; chilling by the outdoor fires; relaxing on the veranda....priceless. If I had to give any feedback it would be that we requested a room fridge twice and it never arrived; felt a bit unwanted first night at one restaurant (low staff) but made up for it everywhere else! Really should have coffee/tea and waters available all day for self serve. Only available for afternoon tea. Late night snacks would be welcome too. Overall though awesome trip!

Was upgraded to a presidential wing room but was not told it was an ADA room. Upon arrival found no soaking tub and no furniture on the patio. Plus a $20 self parking fee is completely outrageous
