We stayed because it was pet friendly. However, our pet suffered a seizure not even 2 hours after we checked. They didnt care. We had to rush home to get our dog admitted to the hospital where she still is. This hotel was packed so it wasnt a matter of them hurting for money. They just didnt care

So, firstly, the pool was closed our entire stay, despite being advertised as open. The first room we were put, in the bathroom door was literally tied to the wall with wire. They moved us to another room, but they put someone else in there minutes later. The bathrooms are suuuuuper small, you have to shimmy sideways past the sink to get to the toilet. The photos advertise the cabana, the large, beach front deck with couches, a pergola, and lounge chairs. It looked really inviting. Unfortunately, it reeked. It smells as if local cats have taken a liking to the area, we lasted about 45 seconds. Ask for a blanket, as the beds are made with a textured top sheet only, we were very cold the first evening. Also, their linen/laundry room has a square meter hole in the wall. I thought at first it was window, but no, its a literal hole in the wall. It was fine otherwise.

We are veterans when it comes to Wildwood but this was our first time traveling with our 8 month old puppy which was the main reason for picking this hotel. Pleasantly surprised to see all the upgrades made to this motel. Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. Could use a few hooks or towel racks or perhaps some shelves to put your toiletries on. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work causing it steamed up. Also, there was only the one mirror in the bathroom. We did enjoy hanging out at the Cabana terrace to watch the Air show. We would definitely return.

The place is really pet friendly -- all staff were very kind to the dogs. The location is excellent. Although our room did not overlook the beach as shown in the online pictures, it was quiet at night and there is a nice daytime deck with lots of comfortable seating that does overlook the boardwalk. The rooms were clean, but the bathroom door was damaged and wouldn't completely close. The pool was, in my opinion, way too cold for swimming (end of August). In the words of a guest I overheard while walking past, it was "a f**ing ice bath." In the 3 days we stayed, the place was full and the weather was warm, but I never saw anyone in the pool, though some people sat on the edge with their feet in it. Parking is $20/day for a "reserved" spot, but if you go anywhere during the day, you might have to wait while they track down owners of cars that park in your space. This happened twice during the two days we parked there (the first night they didn't have any spots available). It was frustrating to spend valuable vacation time waiting around for our $20 parking space to open up. They give you a large, durable card for your dashboard, but nothing to put in your space when you leave it to show that it's reserved. I recommended numbered traffic cones, but they said their system "worked fine." I disagree. I will go back for the friendly staff, great location, cleanliness and pet friendliness, if they can fix the parking situation.

The room was dirty, and the towels were stained. There was visible mold on the bathroom sink and tiles. The hotel feels very rundown, and it is far too expensive for what it offers. The room itself was extremely small. The only positives were that it allowed dogs and was close to the boardwalk.

I want to start off by saying that I am very picky when it comes to staying at hotels/ motels. I looked at reviews for this motel 2 days before check in and I almost immediately cancelled as I saw a lot of recent bad reviews with comments about it being dirty , run down, etc. We ended up arriving to check in and I will say our check in experience wasn’t the greatest, there isn’t enough parking for every room which isn’t the greatest but they do offer a parking permit to park anywhere in wildwood with a meter so I will say that did help. We were given a little welcome back once the room was ready that had water and snacks which was nice. The room was clean upon checking in. I’m not sure where the other people stayed but we had an ocean front room and it was clean , no water stains or mold even in the bathroom . We definitely were glad we decided to stay. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom was a good size. The only thing I’d point out is that the floors could be mopped a little more. It’s hard to keep wood/laminate floors sand and dust free but they were not terrible. The location was very convenient for getting on to the boardwalk and beach. I love that I could bring my dog and be that close. There is always going to be little things people don’t like but I think overall people need to remember that they are staying at motels, not top notch hiltons. I’ve seen some nasty places in wildwood and this was far from it. We will definitely be going back
