One night near Foxwoods

Overnight for a conference at Foxwoods. Not sumptuous accomodations - a bit worn - but appropriate for the price. Only a 7 minute drive to Foxwoods parking garage. Not a bad value choice.

Staying on the first floor was like having elephants walking above you. You could hear every step. And you have people who go to the casinos stay there so they are up all night. The breakfast is beyond poor. Stay here if you are really cost saving but that would be only reason.

Pictures online are deceiving. I guess for the lower price you pay it was an ok place to stay, but wouldn’t return. You can hear people talking outside the room, the breakfast is advertised as a deluxe continental breakfast but only good thing about it was the waffle maker. No fresh fruits, no meats, etc. The dining area for breakfast was too small and we were unable to eat breakfast there and had to bring our food back to our room on the second floor. The shower pressure was too high and the tub filled with water very quickly so we could only take a super quick shower while we were there. The plus side is that it was only 15 minutes (drive) to Olde Mistick Village.

Love that they were an affordable option very close to the casino. They also offered a free shuttle from the hotel to the casino and an atm in the lobby to cut back on those casino atm fees and uber costs.

My first impression was that our room was very clean and check in was a breeze no problems there the jetted tub was vey nice and worked properly i didn't like how the coffee maker and cups were in the bathroom it was very weird and and kind of unsanitary depending on how you look at it also the free breakfast i wasn't fan of it it was just cereal and bread, bagels of that sorts and only cranberry juice and apple juice no orange juice or eggs nor any kind of meat if i knew that i would've got breakfast outside the hotel other than it wasn't a terrible stay the king size bed with the draped curtains was a nice touch and only a 5 minute drive from foxwoods!
