Way over priced for one night. Nothing included. Had to pay for parking. Had to pay for breakfast and coffee. Pillow cases smelled like they hadn’t been washed.

When we arrived at the hotel, I was told that they had overbooked, gave me a letter promising me that the Holiday Inn across the street would give me the same wonderful experience. Not. I understand that hotels want to fill their rooms, but I do feel that we should have been given a call or an email as a heads up. IF I wanted to stay at the Holiday Inn, I would have reserved room. The front desk clerk acted like he really didn't give a damn and that is not acceptable. Before I sound like a Karen, I booked this room as a little pick me up from our regular life. We were in San Francisco on some business and our business has been very tough lately. Normally I'd book a less expensive place, but I wanted this to be just a little special.

I had a great stay at the Handlery Hotel! The staff were very friendly and always available to help, which made a big difference. I really appreciated the regular housekeeping, it kept everything clean and comfortable throughout my stay. One small downside was that I couldn’t use the pool because it was under maintenance, and my room didn’t have a microwave. However, the staff were very accommodating whenever I needed assistance, which made up for it. I also liked that there was a water dispenser on each floor, so I didn’t have to buy water during my stay. The location was perfect very close to the Union Square conference center, which was incredibly convenient for me. Overall, it was an affordable stay (under $500 for 4 days), and I truly enjoyed my experience. I would definitely consider staying here again!
