Great stay

We saw a show at the Scope Arena and this was a great location to stay. Easy drive. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Easy parking. Nice front desk employees. Would definitely stay again.

Just a couple of blocks from public access to the beach, The Bay Inn is well-named. This is our 2nd stay here, and both times our room has been clean and well equipped with comfortable bed and all the amenities we need for our stay.

This property looks a little sketch from the outside but it’s totally a hidden gem! It’s super clean in the rooms, has a modernized touch to it and the man and wife there was super accommodating. I arrived later in the evening and they were super nice and got us checked in. The property is also walking distance to a beach. I would recommend this property to anyone any day.

Favorite Hotel

We always enjoy staying at The Bay Inn when in Norfolk. The owner is always very nice, professional and accommodating. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and have all the essentials. Very quiet too!

Uncomfortable Stay

The rooms are nice and clean, but the bed mattress was hard and very uncomfortable. We drove 7 1/2 hours to get here and did not sleep well at all. I did like the courtyard. We got up early to get ready but had no hot water until after 6 am. I won't stay here again. You shouldn't have to wait for hot water and it took forever to figure out the process to turn on the TV. :(

It was an awesome experience and place to visit. The owners had the sweetest and friendliest Dog named Callie she looks like a baked potato she greeted me one morning when I was enjoying the morning sunlight with a cup of coffee in the courtyard. Truly a delightful place to stay. Thank you.
