We reserved two rooms, and both were disappointing. One room was supposed to have a king bed and a double or queen sofa bed — it only had a very small twin sofa that clearly couldn’t accommodate my grandchildren. The hotel said they had no other room available. Luckily, we had brought an inflatable mattress, or we would’ve been stuck. The second room was supposed to have two queen beds and a crib. No crib was provided. When we called reception, we were told no one could help us. Only after insisting — and showing our booking confirmation — did they bring a playpen, which was not what we were expecting. The pool had no towels available, and when we asked, we were told to come back in 2 hours as they were “all washing.” Breakfast at the restaurant was another low point: the French toast was inedible, and the staff was rude and visibly indifferent. To top it off, the Wi-Fi didn’t work for two days. This was not a 4-star experience. At best, it felt like a 2- or 3-star hotel. Definitely not worth the price.

Overall a nice stay. Good location. But we had to ask for toilet paper, the phone didn’t work, sage was broken, and a/c was not strong and the shower leaked constantly. We did ask the front desk to fix the problems and only one was addressed.

Property was clean, great vibe, cute room, nice pool. I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the hotel very much. Staff was extremely helpful, quick to resolve any issues. (The safe was not working. Housekeeping notified Maintenance and the issue was resolved within 20 minutes. Also needed a microwave, and staff brought one to my room within 10 minutes.) The pool area was very clean, with plenty of lounge chairs, towels, attendants for the drink and snack bar. Great atmosphere. I went to the pool a few times and enjoyed it. I had a burger with fries in the dining room. It was delicious. Also had a quick muffin and coffee. Both were great, but the coffee cake muffin was to die for. Would definitely go back.

A solid 3.5 star hotel. The hotel can be cleaner. Our floor in the room was dirty. Not sure if it gets cleaned. The staff are very attentive and kind. I think they’re doing the best they can. The walls of hotel are made of paper. We heard everything and everyone. Stayed on the 3rd floor and had some psychotic people above us. Had to complain of noise at midnight. Never ever had to do that in all the years of going to a hotel. We had breakfast at the hotel and staff was sooo frazzled. Like they couldn’t handle more than 1 table. Food was ok. Tiny tiny coffee cups so you are constantly waiting on a refill. A big no for me. Our room looked out to the back of the hotel. There was a lot of noise because it was also their unloading dock. A big thank you to Lisa at hotel for helping us with getting a premium queen. Lisa was so kind and just awesome. And like I mentioned, staff are kind and attentive.

We really enjoyed our stay overall — the hotel facilities were quite good, and our whole family liked the design and general atmosphere. However, the one major downside was the poor sound insulation. Unfortunately, we were assigned a room on the ground floor, right below another guest room. The noise from upstairs was quite loud and disruptive, especially at night, and it really affected our sleep over several days. On top of that, our room was located directly across from a busy hallway entrance, so we could constantly hear people coming and going, which made it hard to rest. I did ask the front desk if we could switch rooms, but was told the hotel was fully booked. That was disappointing, but we understand it may have been a busy period. Aside from the noise issue, we had a pleasant experience and appreciated many aspects of the hotel.

I loved the decor, "vintage surfy, there were nice touches and accents throughout the room and the hotel and I loved the layout of the room! It was roomy, bright and nicely appointed. We had a King Parlor Suite and enjoyed the living room area with a kitchenette and the other area had a king sized bed with the small table for eating or could be used for working. The staff was very responsive, friendly and were able to help out when we had questions or requests. We had issues with the coffee maker and they gave us a new one. The housekeeping services could have cleaned the floors a bit better and filled up the coffee and creamers but overall they cleaned the room every time we requested it. The gym facilities were amazing and we were able to work out and feel comfortable using the gym and the equipment. The gym was well maintained. The Little Clam had few offerings, that were quite expensive as the menu was mostly a la carte and the price added up quickly just for breakfast for three people it was $98. There was a pool bar/cafe that was very nice to be able to get drinks by the pool. The pool area had nice touches, umbrellas and comfortable chairs and tables.
