This hotel stay was just okay. Check in isn’t until 4, and they still didn’t have a room ready for us, we had to wait close to an hour. (They did give us a discount, which we appreciated) Our room was tucked on the corner close to the pool (which was nice! You have to go outside to a separate building to get to it) but the hot tub was broken and we had to walk over a strange, leaking faucet area to get to our room.

Great view from the deck and nice sitting area inside the room, with binoculars for viewing wildlife. Overall very clean, comfortable and spacious room. Only con was the mattress being too soft. Friendly staff. Good coffee and Keurig machine in the room with complimentary snacks. Close to beach, hiking and Nye beach town.

Nice property. We did request a different room because the staff outside our room was loud ( supply room directly across from our room). Got a different room the next day, only to have to do an emergency evacuation at 1am. Fire department showed up while we all stood out in the parking lot. Not hotel’s fault & they reimbursed us for that night. Very nice lady at front desk, wonderful restaurant. Very nice staff.

Upon arrival the elevator was not working, as they said they were cleaning them. However, there was no sign posted on the elevator doors to notify people waiting in the parking garage. After waiting 15 minutes, I walked around to the lobby to tell them, as a person traveling with us recently had knee surgery and needed the elevator. We even confirmed there was an elevator due to her current medical situation. When I told the front desk personnel, she literally shrugged and smirked at me. Then another female employee came over and told her that the elevator had been closed. I felt that the evening front desk personnel were rude and unprofessional. I have never had a hotel staff be that nonchalant and not even try to help the customer. The morning front desk personnel were very friendly. Also, if you want a hotel with air conditioning, then this one is not for you. There is no air conditioning and they told us at the front desk to open our windows, which do not have screens on them to prevent bugs from coming in. The positives were a clean hotel and location near water.

It is a nice hotel by the beach. The view of the beach from our room balcony was my favorite. They prepared a welcome snacks for us. The hotel has plenty of parking and walkable to dining areas. Will definitely recommend.
