The facility was wonderful! The staff was very good, the room was excellent, clean modern, well kept. The problem was some A** decided that a 1 AM cigarette in his room was fine, however he set the smoke detector! So I can report that the fire alarm system works well and the staff know what to do. It is so unfortunate to the Garland that I had a poor stay it really is not the hotels fault!

This place was perfect for a stop on an I-70 road trip. Clean, decent breakfast, and a great price with allowed us to upgrade to the “deluxe” suite with the pull out couch so our HS/college aged kids didn’t need to share a bed. The only issue was the hot water ran out in the morning. We would stay here again.

Friendly staff. Clean room. A few little things that were nice: Not a single problem with our room key, it opened on the first try every time! The ice bucket was nice and insulated with a sealed lid so the ice didn’t melt within 5 minutes. The room was huge! Breakfast wasn’t much but adequate enough. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion provided smelled nice. Bathroom and shower were clean. Shower was pretty and big, but water pressure was very light. Overall a great hotel! I’d stay there again!

Wonderful place to stay in December while visiting Ohio holiday showpieces and traveling to see family in Ohio. The property leaned into its name “Garland” and had eye-appealing decorations in the public spaces in the first floor.

Often times you could not find anyone at the front desk. We booked our stay at the Garland Hotel because it advertised having an Indoor pool. During all of our stay the pool was closed. Upon checkout I requested a copy of my receipt and was told that the clerk was unable to print out a paper receipt however I would receive an email receipt. To date I have I have not received the email. I left a message with the location yet again requesting a copy of my receipt and have not heard anything back from them
