I want to be fair in this review but we had a difficult multi-night stay. Here are the highlights.
1. We had a reservation for 2 rooms but when we arrived were told that they were on different floors. We had requested them to be close due to elderly group member that needed assistance. Initially told not an option, but a kind desk clerk finally helped us work it out.
2. Upon arriving at said rooms on 3rd floor, one smelled completely of smoke and was rough. Was told nothing to be done tonight but could fix tomorrow. They did move us in the morning next door.
3. The new room we went to was fine but was a definitely on the dirty side.
4. Upon arriving back at our hotel the final night of our stay, we found a flyer under our door telling us that the power would be OUT starting at 7 am until at least noon the next day. If we needed to use the elevator, power in the room, or have breakfast in lobby, all had to happen before 7 am. I discussed with the front desk clerk on duty and was told "I can't really do much about it. It's not really our problem since it is the power company". I get that this is out of their hands to some degree, but it is wrong to tell people so close to the time of outage. They did release us from final night of reservation and we moved to the Best Western in Steubenville which was immaculate and much nicer.
Bottom line - stayed here many times over the years. It is not as nice or clean as previous trips. Almost all the front desk staff was A+.
